richard sens sound has always been influenced by black dance music and european electronic music and these two tracks carry on the vibe dark, electronic funk! flow master is inspired by old school new york house combined with european industrial body music. sen calls it muscle house. bad meaning good is a lighter, deep groove that takes inspiration from african percussion artists like kongotronics.

people must jam s ninth record is from one of our favourite djs and producers. a guy who has a ridiculously large back catalogue and in our opinion it is a crime that some of his records haven t received bigger recognition. a true master of house and hip hop music, kid sublime has been putting out amazing records since 2001. his own label dopeness galore literally does exactly what it says on the tin. even before we launched people must jam s label we wanted kid sublime to be a part of it. now finally we are stoked to present this ep... four serious cuts for four different vibed floors - look out! first up kid s homage to techno legend ben sims with bang like sims a driving deep techno groove. strong percussion, deep stabs and that unrelenting beat are going to ensure this one gets some love on the harder edged, heavier dance floors. we the people heads a little down the tribal route with some afro inspired percussion, haunting samples and that kalimba! dropping a really infectious riff before beautiful piano melodies drift in and out of the mix. wonderful stuff. the title track i like em dirty , we feel, is a lesson in proper deep house. classic sounding house beats, little guitar licks, deep stabs and the vocal sample combine for this perfect house cut. massive. the ep is rounded out with another cut in tribute to the legend that was kenny hawkes. another master of his craft - kenny sadly now passed on but his spirit is well and truly alive in this fitting tribute. one 4 kenny features strong percussion, low bass, deep stabs and slamming beats = cracking stuff

a brilliant tune produced by a team who also worked together at chicago s loop record store, jesse jones and carl bias. written by leroy haggard (aka mr. lee) when you hold me was arguably the fiest of the deep house genre. the pair went on to work extensively with liz torres, the queen of house. re mastered for 2016 and re released in conjunction with trax.

a classic house track gets a re-release and an extra special edit from bass culture owner d julz. the edit of chicago groover * dont let love pass you by* from master c & j has been a staple of d julz sets for quite some time now. over time more and more people have asked about the track and he duly responded to demand by not only clearing his rework for release, but also signing up the original to be reissued via his label. so we have the original version, which oozes chi-town sleaze, remastered for 2016 together with the superb edit by the man himself, d’julz. need we say anymore?

new x-masters! after the massive nicholas/morning factory release its finn gold with the 2nd x-masters. finn gold resisted his routines and started working on some other music... opening track is a briliant cover version of the classic atmosphere. pretty bold to cover such a classic, but finn gold nailed it! flip side gives 2 other excellent 90s inspired tracks for the body and soul. pretty amazing release!! recommended.

anders enges interest in modular synthesizers comes from a desire to shut down conscious decisions about form and to focus on rhythm and timbre. this does however not land in traditional techno but rather in a riff-oriented style, the riff being both rhythm and melody and also a morphing entity in the music. drums and percussion attempt to follow this entity, while maintaining a link to the dance music pulse. the resulting style makes for a hybrid timewarped experience of travelling a parallell electronic music reality, a brooding technoid that grooves

after being returned from his abduction by aliens from the hidden planet nibiru, dj overdose was given an alien synthesizer the haex-hrll as a thank you for all the cerebral research the aliens did on him. on returning back to earth all dj overdose had to do was finish the 6 tracks the aliens had started to work on, which became this ep. straight forward techno hop electro funk without any fancy-pants pretentious hooha. its like a black and white movie which makes you think why the hell is there colors anyway?! after completion, the only record label he could imagine being fit for such rawness would be viewlexx... and so here it is.

grab the new s&c 005 record, a split 12inch by ender & stiletti-ana, put it on and lay down on your sofa. hear the opening groove from enders track p.l.i.h. and find your self getting up immediately to turn the stereo a little louder. adapt your self to the super tight, locked & futuristic and very original techno groove. watch especially out for the killer stab line in it as it is just something you will most likely find your self humming while shopping or taking your dog out. after the original mix of p.l.i.h. you will hear the stiletti-ana s stripped down version. he must have cut everything else out in his mix with his switch blade besides the ruthless stab line. dig the endless and ever growing stab jacking and remember that p.l.i.h side of the record is very serious and addictive for both club & home users. turn the record around and go back to your sofa. hear the twisted detroitian afro acid disco of stiletti-ana s track i got the master unit. filled with merciless synths and forcing rhythms i got the master unit leaves no questions of the keeper of that unit. the user of the unit seems to turn all things to the max and play midi tracks with tesla coil a like instruments. after the original it is ender s time to use the master unit and turn down the lights and ask the question: do you think that there will be something nice happening soon?
